Though the yellow-eared honey eater is the most frequent visitor to our birdbath, the rainbow lorikeets arrive in large numbers at times and the  pics here are the first galahs to call by.

The pair of swans with new cygnets are at Elanora but don't know at which part of the lake they nest

The butcher bird was rescued from the middle of a Gold Coast road by Jess after it had been hit by a car while being beaten up by a pair of magpies

The first galah we've seen at the birdbath here in Platz Street. Galahs were daily visitors in Oakey.

Rainbow lorikeets drink and bath at the same time

Some have to wait their turn at the bath so sitting on the fence is one way to do it

More lorikeets

Behind the one swan are five baby swans. Great to have them visit
